I just want to be honest — the current way the business is running is not sustainable.

We are losing too much money through unpaid cleans, customers owing for months, card fees on every £5 payment, inaccessible bins, and the constant time spent chasing money after the work has already been done.

This week alone we are down around £400 from bins we could not access, and the owed list is now around £450.

After wages, fuel, bills and running costs, there is too often nothing left for me. That cannot continue.

Looking ahead, there is another serious issue — VAT.

At the current £5 per bin price, if we have to register for VAT, the margins are hit even harder. Right now, when things are tight, I at least have the option of going without a wage myself just to make sure the lads are paid and the bills are covered.

But once VAT comes into it, that changes completely.

It would no longer just be a case of me struggling through another week with no wage. It would mean the business could actually start running at a loss, costing me thousands, while the margins get squeezed even further.

Right now I can choose to go without a wage. With VAT at £5 per bin, that choice disappears and the business itself starts losing money.

That is exactly why these changes are not optional. They are necessary if the business is going to have any future at all.

So over the next few weeks, Adrenify will be moving onto a new system under Adrenify Ltd:

£6 per bin
Direct Debit only
One monthly payment date
No more cash
No more card payments after each clean
If we attend and cannot clean due to no fault of our own, the clean will still be charged

This is not being done to be awkward. It is being done because the business has to be fixed properly if it is going to survive.

The choice now is simple: fix it or pack it in.

I am making one final push to fix it. I would rather fix it properly now than carry on pretending this setup works when it clearly does not.

For any new customers who have already paid the £10 first clean, do not worry — we will still honour that and get your first clean done. After that, you will have the option to continue under the new system if you want to.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be sending out invitations to customers to move over to the new system.

While this is being sorted, I will also be pausing taking on new customers, apart from the current batch of first cleans that have already been paid for and still need to be completed.

I have also already started removing our social media posts while I get this fixed, because I do not want to carry on taking more customers on while the system is clearly not working.

We have not disappeared at this stage, but where we go from here will depend a lot on the response to this email and how many customers are willing to continue under the new setup.

I am under no illusion that these changes are a tough decision. We may lose a lot of customers because of it. But in all honesty, there is no other choice at this point.

If that means totally starting over, then that is what I will do. If it means not enough customers continue and the service has to stop completely, then that is what I will have to face too.

You may not understand the full circumstances behind this decision, but I do. I know why these changes need to happen. I know it is risky, but I also know it is necessary.

When I started this business, I did not know a lot about running one properly. The whole point was to try and build a better life for my family. The truth is, despite all the hard work and effort, the business is not where it should be. On paper, we should be in a good position by now, but in reality the margins are too tight, too much money is being lost, and too much time is being spent chasing payments and dealing with bins we cannot access.

It is not a lack of effort. It is the system that needs to change.

In the meantime, to make the transfer easier, if you already know you do not want to continue under the new setup, please reply and let me know now so I can remove you before I start transferring customers to the new Squeegee account.

This really is the last effort to try and make this business work. As I have said, it is not working as it is now, and I am willing to throw in the towel if necessary. That is the truth.

Thank you to the customers who support us properly, pay on time, and appreciate the work we put in.
